Working with the City Council and visionary leaders, we were a critical part of a team to pitch and win a massive bid to win approval to build a whole new university at Petrie Mill, Queensland.
The budget was very limited but the ambitions were high.
We convinced the client not to try and build a ‘3D model of a not-design university’ – a very costly and difficult exercise.
We convinced the client to tell an emotional story overlaid on the real environment using HD chopper footage.
We pitched the story of the tragedy of the smart local ‘sparks’ leaving as there are no opportunities for educational growth in the region.
A beautiful production piece, and a successful outcome. The university is underway.
